Linda's Maternity Session At Austin Newborn Photography
The Red Dress
Linda was our very last client photographed in our Burnet Road Studio. She came into the studio for her session and we had it partially disassembled for the move. We had boxes everywhere, the flooring pulled up about halfway through the studio, and it was pretty much just a mess. I was a little embarrassed by it, but Linda was very cool with the state of things and we had a great session.
Linda chose one of our clients' favorite gowns. This red, gown from Silk Fairies has be super popular this year. Actually, I'm pretty sure that red has been a studio favorite since the beginning with our red Jessica gown from Sew Trendy. I think it might be time to buy another red dress to mix things up again.
For Linda's session we kept things fairly simple, because of the state of the studio, but also these are all easily timeless portraits. In addition to the red dress we did a simple white maternity gown, and some fabric draping. I just love working with fabrics and draping my clients. Each time we get some thing a little different. My favorite draping fabrics have come from Mii Estilo. I recently added three more neutral silky draping scarves as well as a new chiffon cape. We're always adding new pieces to our client closet and since we've moved it has outgrown it's space. I'll be up there working on expanding the wardrobe space this week. Making room for the two gowns that are set to be delivered this week. I'll be sharing those on Instagram soon.
Linda booked our Belly to Baby package and we got to photograph her baby girl, too. I'll be sharing images from that session soon as well. Here are some highlights from her Petite Maternity Session.
