Baby Nourah came to our studio and was just the sweetest little girl. We loved capturing her mom's maternity session as part of our Belly to Baby Experience and always look forward to meeting the family again for the newborn session. Our newborn sessions are some of our more creative as we have so many adorably cute newborn props. Including hand-knit items made by Valerie. We love creating with soft, muted color as well as more bold jewel tones for our babies in the newborn studio.
Newborn Studio Sessions:
Our Signature Newborn Studio Sessions always include Family portraits. Not all families take advantage of this, and opt for just images of their newborn, but we encourage all of our newborn session families to pose for their FIRST portrait as a family. During our family portion we always do a pose with just mom, just dad, any siblings (if requested), and everyone all together. These are very special portrait of your new family. The way baby fits in your arms today will be completely different in just a few days as they are growing and changing every day.
We love working props and we do several prop shots every session in addition to more simply posed on our special newborn posing stand. If baby is awake during his/her session we try to get some beautiful eye's open shots. Parents LOVE these and are easily accomplished if baby is calm during their time awake. While we prefer baby to sleep for most of the session these images are always a favorite and we love when we can get a good awake shot with eye contact.
