Maternity Session Fees
$499
For our Maternity Experiences, the session creation fee includes everything needed to make your session truly special. This fee covers your time at the studio, professional hair and makeup to ensure you look and feel your best, access to our exclusive studio wardrobe featuring high-end gowns and accessories, and expert posing and lighting tailored to create stunning images. It also includes the time, talent, and expertise of the photographer and her assistant(s), planning and preparation for your session.
The session fee will be paid in two parts: a portion is due at booking to reserve your session date, and the remaining $150 will be due on the day of your session. This structure ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish, allowing you to relax and enjoy this special moment. A portion of the session fee ($200) will be credited towards your maternity package purchase.
Please note, unless otherwise stated the session fee DOES NOT INCLUDE any prints, products, or digital images. Maternity Packages start at $799.
This is our process:
I. Contact Us & Reserve Your Date
Reach out to discuss your vision and secure your session date with a deposit. Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–34 weeks of pregnancy. You'll pay your Session Fee to Reserve your date.
II. Plan Your Experience
Complete our comprehensive session planning questionnaire to share your preferences and ideas. We’ll use this to guide you through selecting outfits from our exclusive wardrobe, arranging professional hair and makeup, and tailoring every detail to your unique style.
III. Enjoy Your Session
On the day of your maternity session, we transform our studio into a sanctuary of relaxation and indulgence. Begin with professional hair and makeup services to enhance your natural beauty. Our team handles all the details, allowing you to unwind and enjoy this special day dedicated entirely to you. Embrace the joy of your maternity journey as we capture stunning portraits in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Signature Belly to Baby
Bundle your MATERNITY and NEWBORN sessions. Austin Newborn Photography's #1 Option for clients since 2017. With it your newborn session fee is waived and you get a generous package of images and art from your Maternity Session.
Celebrate the journey from pregnancy to your baby’s first days with our Signature Belly to Baby package, offering a complete and luxurious photography experience.
Maternity Session Includes:
- Up to a 1.5-hour studio session – Time dedicated to creating elegant, timeless maternity portraits.
- 15 digital images – Professionally retouched and ready for sharing or printing.
- Velvet Triplex – A stunning keepsake to display your favorite images.
- At least three wardrobe choices – Access to our exclusive client closet, featuring gowns valued at $150–$1,000.
- Newborn Session Includes:
- Approximately 2.5-hour studio session – Tailored to capture your newborn’s precious details.
- At least four custom setups – Designed with your preferences in mind.
- Optional family, sibling, and parent poses – To include those closest to your heart.
- $200 package credit – Applied toward the purchase of your newborn image package.
Important: The newborn session does not include prints, products, or digital images. These are sold separately, with packages starting at $799.

What is a Modern Studio Maternity Session?
These sessions are expertly lit and meticulously posed. Classic and Timeless.
Our Modern Studio Maternity Sessions take place in our North Austin Studio. We recommend scheduling your maternity session between weeks 27-35, when your baby bump should be defined and you'll have that beautiful pregnancy glow. However, we understand that every pregnancy is unique and have had clients book much earlier and much later in their pregnancies. It's all up to how you feel and what you prefer. If you suddenly decide you want to capture this special time just before your due date, that's okay too!
Our Maternity Studio Availability is limited to week day sessions only. Our studio closet is extensive and available only for our studio clients. Our Premier Maternity sessions include professional hair and makeup, provided in-studio by our hair and makeup artist, Ledda. (Please note not all sessions include hair and makeup, but it can be added on for $150)
You can choose from simple Modern Editorial Maternity photos, classic Maternity Portraits, ultra-feminine maternity sessions, intimate Maternity Boudoir Portraits, or super glamorous GODDESS pregnancy photos. You can book your maternity session as a stand alone pregnancy portrait session or as part of our Belly to Baby Maternity and Newborn Plan.
