What is a Modern Studio Maternity Session?
These sessions are expertly lit and meticulously posed. Classic and Timeless.
Our Modern Studio Maternity Sessions take place in our North Austin Studio. We recommend scheduling your maternity session between weeks 27-35, when your baby bump should be defined and you'll have that beautiful pregnancy glow. However, we understand that every pregnancy is unique and have had clients book much earlier and much later in their pregnancies. It's all up to how you feel and what you prefer. If you suddenly decide you want to capture this special time just before your due date, that's okay too!
Our Maternity Studio Availability is limited to week day sessions only. Our studio closet is extensive and available only for our studio clients. Our Premier Maternity sessions include professional hair and makeup, provided in-studio by our hair and makeup artist, Ledda. (Please note not all sessions include hair and makeup, but it can be added on for $150)
You can choose from simple Modern Editorial Maternity photos, classic Maternity Portraits, ultra-feminine maternity sessions, intimate Maternity Boudoir Portraits, or super glamorous GODDESS pregnancy photos. You can book your maternity session as a stand alone pregnancy portrait session or as part of our Belly to Baby Maternity and Newborn Plan.
Our clients have exclusive access to the Maternity Studio wardrobe of Designer Gowns, dresses, and fabrics. Our studio wardrobe has been meticulously curated by Valerie to ensure that clients never have to worry about what to wear!
To ensure that you get the session you want, we recommend scheduling early in your pregnancy. Our maternity session schedule fills quickly and often months in advance, so it's best to book while you're in your early second trimester, if not sooner.

SESSION FEE: $495
Your session fee of $495 will be paid in 2 parts. $345 will be due at booking, to reserve your session date. The remaining $150 will be due on your session date.
Your session fee DOES NOT INCLUDE any prints, products, or digital images. A portion of your session fee will be credited towards the maternity package purchased at your ordering session. Sample packages listed below:
For our Full Maternity Session experience, your session fee includes: your time at the studio (approx 1.5-2 hour for a Signature Session), professional hair and makeup, access to our studio wardrobe, expert posing and lighting of your session, the time and talent of the photographer and her assistant(s), and all that goes into planning your session.
